Through my design, I wanted to signify the history and the bold culture of the Philippines. From the name itself and the atmosphere it brings, I was inspired by the Philippine's most popular transportation— Jeepney and designed the cookbook and menu system based on its vibrant and unique design.

In relation to the Philippine history, I wanted the cookbook to focus on a context of the Philippine culture — Boodle fight, a military practice of eating a meal that involves eating with your hands and a banana leaf as your plate. The choices on typography and layout were heavily influenced by the design of they Jeepneys. And to keep a unified system in design, I designed the menu as a liscense plate in which will be hung on top of the customers table.
